The creative project Raw Material is an extended reality (XR) project based on the use of volumetrically captured selfies, transformed into virtual environments, for the creation of printed, animated, interactive and Fulldome digital tableaux.

About Yan Breuleux
Yan Breuleux (M.A.Sc, D.Mus) is a full professor at NAD-UQAC (School of Digital Arts, Animation, and Design), a co-researcher within the Hexagram network, the Chair of Research in Creative Economy and Well-being (CREAT), and the director of the Mimesis laboratory. His artistic practice focuses on visu-al music for immersive devices. Since 1998, his work in animation and A/Vperformance has been recog-nized through numerous artistic projects created with the duo Purform, in collaboration with composer Alain Thibault. Since 2013, he has been developing audiovisual (A/V) performances in FullDome format. His projects include VjGraph (2013), Nuée/Swarm (2015), Re-génération(2015), Enigma (2017-2021), Les Planètes (2019), Illumination Frankenstein: Voyage au coeur du mythe (2019), Nuages (2022),and Raw Material (2025). In his projects, he is particularly interested in exploring the relationships between narrativity, sensoriality, and immersion.

Founded in 2019 by Alain Thibault, Galerie Elektra promotes local and international artistic discoveries, with an emphasis on premieres and exclusives in contemporary digital art. Located in the Complexe De Gaspé in the Mile-End district, Galerie Elektra offers a program of 4 to 5 exhibitions each season.
